Hello, welcome my project to paint 4,000 8.5 x 11 to 11 x 14 paintings. It's a tall order, but I am sticking with the goal. At the start of this project I will limit my palette to Red, White, and Gray. My subjects will be fashion, super heroes, science fiction, Japanese actresses, and Abraham Lincoln.

Retoyman in the pages of The Stndrd Magazine, Death Of An Icon, Bill Cosby essay by Adam C. Better.
Retoyman in the pages of thestndrd magazine. I made this image before the article was finished. When my editor wrote me about this piece I remember writing him that I wanted to make a very handsome portrait of Cosby with Fat Albert T-shirt and then destroy it by writing over it, like someone would do to a image they no longer want to remember. It seems that the author of this essay, Adam C. Better feels the same way I do about Cosby and perhaps sums up a generation raised on Cosby- not just the The Cosby Show, but Mission Impossible, Uptown Saturday Night, Fat Albert, Jello Pudding, and even Little Chris are all destroyed by the man we loved.
